A blog…welcome to my world of mothering

Living in Rhythm, Not in the System

Motherhood has a way of shifting the ground beneath us. The world tells us to “keep up”—to bounce back, to meet milestones, to parent in ways that fit neatly into societal boxes. But when we try to squeeze ourselves and our babies into these boxes, something gets lost: our rhythm, our intuition, our joy.

In my own journey—both as a mother and as a yoga facilitator—I’ve come to see that the greatest gift we can offer ourselves (and our children) is permission to step out of the system and into a life that feels truly aligned. Not the life we’re told to live, but the one that resonates with our own bodies, our babies, and the values that anchor us.

This isn’t about rejecting everything, but about re-membering. Remembering the wisdom that already lives in us. Remembering how to breathe with our babies. Remembering that slowing down is a radical act.

A New Kind of Rhythm

When we start living in rhythm with ourselves, our babies, and our values, life begins to take on a different quality. Instead of chasing external standards, we attune to the seasons of our bodies, the cycles of the moon, the natural flow of family life.

In this rhythm, we make space for presence. For the little rituals that bring us back home—yoga on the mat, a walk in nature, the stillness of meditation, or simply lying on the floor with our baby and watching them discover the world. These are not small things. They are everything.

Holding Space for the Journey

My work has always been about holding space—for mothers, for women, for families, for the becoming of who we are. Space to breathe, to be witnessed, to be supported. Space to remember that we don’t have to do this alone, and that community, sisterhood, and connection are not luxuries, but essentials.

It’s in these spaces that we can step away from the noise and hear ourselves again.

What’s Coming Next

I want to share more of this with you—not just in circles, retreats, or trainings, but in ways you can weave into your everyday life. Soon, I’ll be offering resources to support you in living this way: meditations, podcasts, videos, blogs, and workbooks. Tools that you can return to, in your own time, in your own space.

Watch this space—it’s only just beginning.
